Our guides bring Hiroshima to life through stories of its history, culture, food, and everyday life. Beyond introducing famous landmarks, they reveal the connections between each place and the people who call it home. We want every guest to understand Hiroshima more deeply and leave as a fan of the city—and of Japan.

Our Story

The idea for Localized came from founder Dai Miyamoto’s travels while studying abroad. Through tip-based free walking tours, he discovered how exploring with a local guide could make an unfamiliar city more meaningful and memorable.

After returning to Japan, Dai launched Tokyo Localized in 2017 while continuing his career in finance. Localized later grew to include Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. Osaka Localized

Our focus has always been on the guest experience. A tour should offer more than a route between landmarks: it should give visitors a new perspective on a city and help them build a connection that lasts beyond their visit.
