The tour starts in front of Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine. Please see the Meeting Point section above for the exact location. Advance booking is required.

The tour finishes in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

Is this tour suitable for first-time visitors to Hiroshima?

 

Yes. Your English-speaking local guide introduces Hiroshima’s history through the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park, explaining the atomic bombing, the city’s postwar recovery, and its message of peace.

Is this tour the same as the Hiroshima Free Walking Tour?

 

Yes. Both tours follow the same route and cover the same content. This version has a fixed price rather than the optional tipping model of our Hiroshima Free Walking Tour.

We keep groups small to give you a more personal experience, with opportunities to ask questions and interact with your guide.

What should I wear?

 

Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. The tour runs rain or shine, so bring an umbrella or rain jacket when needed.

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

 

No. The tour is not wheelchair accessible. Guests with strollers are welcome to join.

How do I cancel my booking, and can I get a refund?

 

Use “Manage Booking” in your booking confirmation email, or email info@hiroshimalocalized.com. You will receive a full refund if you cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time and no-shows are non-refundable. All cancellation deadlines are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
